Training is also offered on an individual basis if your dog has specific training needs or is unable to train with other dogs present in a class environment.

​An assessment will be carried out over the phone so I can understand what training is required and assess the best training options for you and your dog.

​All training is reward based, either with treats or toys - depending on the dog's preferred reward.

Sessions last at least 1hr.

Gundog course is on Sunday mornings 10 - 11 for 6 sessions, training will be held at my Training Field near Trimdon.

This course is open to owners of all gundog breeds over 6 months of age and is suitable for both pet and working dogs. 

This course will give your bored gundog a job to do on your daily walks that will keep them happy and out of trouble while also allowing them to use their natural gundog abilities.

This program provides a strong foundation for those who wish to pursue further gundog training. You will teach your dog to retrieve, remain steady around distractions, respond to recall, work with a lead, and respond to whistle commands, as well as a variety of fun training games. These skills will help you build a stronger bond with your dog and enable you to enjoy off-leash walks with confidence.

The course costs £160.

The training classes are open to all gundog breeds of all ages and experience levels, training provided will match you and your dog's abilities.

The classes will last 3hrs giving you plenty of time to train, and 3 weeks between classes to allow time to put that training into practice.

This class is ideal for gundog owners who aren't able to commit to weekly training but still want to get the best out of their dog.

The course will cover obedience training such as lead work, recall, and steadiness as well as all forms of retrieve work, stop whistles, directional work and much more.

All training is reward based training which also helps to build a stronger bond between you and your dog.

£60 per session

​1 day workshop working on teaching your dog how to search effectively for a specific scent, while giving you the skills to help them out and challenge them as they get better and better at the game.

This workshop is ideal for active, busy dogs that require a lot of physical exercise to wear them out. It is also perfect for dogs that get overstimulated and excited, making it difficult for them to calm down.

Alternatively, if you simply enjoy training or activities with your dog, this workshop is for you.

Regardless of your experience level, dog's breed, or age, this workshop will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to help your dog live a happy and healthy life.

The afternoon portion of the workshop will allow you to practice searching for items like an operational search dog. See if your dog can find the hidden contraband.

​The course is open to all breeds, all ages and all experience levels.

​Price is £100

This workshop will cover the basics of adding positive association to recall and getting your dog to engage with you. We will also discuss management while training and distractions.

If your dog is more interested in the environment than you and turns deaf to your attempts of recall, this workshop is for you.
